The Yoga of Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita is widely regarded as one of the most important texts in the history of literature and philosophy.  In contrast to its small size—just 700 verses, divided into 18 chapters—the scope of this scripture is all encompassing, and reveals timeless truths of life and the universe. Countless books and commentaries discuss the Bhagavad Gita, but few people have recognized how it presents a step-by-step path to reach the highest goal of human life.  This is the uniqueness of USR’s curriculum, experientially developed and tested over the course of 30 years.

At present, the following courses on the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita are offered under USR:

Basic Course: The Basic Course is the introduction into The Yoga of Bhagavad Gita and leads to a certification.

Bachelor’s Degree in the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita: Applications for the Bachelor’s Degree course are currently being accepted. This degree certifies that the student has successfully completed a three-year program of experiential study of this yoga path, practice of yogic action, meditation, contemplation, and chanting of the scripture.

The following courses on the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita will be offered under USR in the near future:

Master’s Degree in the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita: This degree certifies that the student has completed a two-year course on the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita and has acquired mastery in integrating the teaching of the Gita with life situations.

PhD in the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita: This degree certifies that the student has completed an intensive three-year research on the yoga of Gita. This course enables a student to be accepted as a faculty member of USR to teach the Yoga of Bhagavad Gita to anyone who is interested.
